Find Bookstores Offering Delivery Near You on This Map

You don’t even need to leave your home. Let your next comfort read find you with local delivery.

With many craving escapism from the huge swathes of free time suddenly thrust upon them, we have one word for you—books. Tons of adorable, hardworking independent bookstores are still open for business and ready to ship your next adventure to you to enjoy from the comfort of your home.

Below is a map with over 150 indie bookstores that are offering delivery and/or curb-side pickup for wherever you find yourself in Canada. Something just feels so right about supporting local business.

Shout out to Don Gorman, Rocky Mountain Books' publisher, who created this map. And of course, let’s also hear it for booksellers who are still at it to get stories into the hands of readers.

“Canadian independent booksellers have been highly responsive to the pandemic and have been supplying books to eagre [sic] readers like never before,” Gorman writes. “By offering online ordering, local delivery, and curb-side pickup they are proving themselves to be creative, energetic, and dedicated to books, reading, and publishing.”

Stay safe and stay sane out there guys.
